So, it turns out that doing secretarial types of work is a lot more time consuming that it might seem. I don't advise doing it for any length of time.
My last school in grad class is Applied Statistics, STAT 500. Somehow there are two art history PhD candidates in the class. That makes it incredibly boring yet entertaining at the same time. Last class' lesson was how to type a formula into excel. Today's lesson: determining area under a curve. By counting boxes.
I'm going to the 76ers game this weekend, and a Dave Brubeck show. Finally getting a chance to see him before he's dead. There's not a whole lot of these guys left around...

Instant Weight Gain / Lies
This weekend was filled with an incredible amount of eating. Saturday we started the day of tasting wedding cake, and I pretty much ate sugar the rest of the day. For all you gamblers (or if you like to make fun of me) the over/under on the number of pieces of cake I ate: 5. Gamble away. I'll tell you the answer whenever I come back and update this again.
Anyway, the same kind of deal kept happening all weekend.
Today I took a polygraph at work. How weird cool is that?

Back to Being Bored
Work over the last week or so has been excruciatingly boring, interspersed by a few hours of shear panic. I guess I need to corral people better so they don't leave me hanging until the last possible moment.
Tonight was the first night of classes for the Spring semester. The new counter is a countdown until I'm done with classes forever. Or at least until I need a new hobby. That's going to be awhile though.
Last but not least, I'm doing a Bowl For Kids' Sake event in about two weeks. If you're interested in donating to help the cause, here's the link:
