I got to spend the weekend in Boston watching a Cornell hockey game, hanging out with more Cornell people than I've seen since graduation, and watching Colin and Danny be Colin and Danny.
Cornell managed to lose to Harvard in what was essentially a home match, so that was kind of a bummer. They looked like a bunch of rookies, which they actually are. Next year...
At least John Harvard's was a lot of fun. The whole night was fun up until the point that a very sick Danny and Colin flanked me while I was trying to use the bathroom. Thanks for that, guys. I'll never forget it.
Last, Kurt might not be fat anymore, but you can't ever improve your gracefulness:
kguenth772 (8:14:12 PM): You idiot
kguenth772 (8:14:23 PM): You made me laugh like a tard
kguenth772 (8:14:25 PM): and she looked

Sports!
I watched the entire Daytona 500 this afternoon, and it was great. It's kind of like college basketball, where only the last two laps matter. Especially when only the last two laps matter, literally. And things only get better when the winner wins by less than a foot, and guys finishing in the top 10 are sliding across the line on their roof while their car is on fire. Fantastic!
Now on to hockey. During the commercials of the 500 I was watching Crosby v. Ovechkin. It was pretty built up for like their 27th meeting so far this season. Especially when neither of them scores a point.
Now on to college hockey. Cornell may have finally came around this season, finally picking up a four point weekend. They scored eight goals in two periods. Spiffy. Five days until I get on a plane for Boston to watch Cornell and Harvard...
Hopefully you can now understand why most of my stuff is still in boxes in the basement.

Snow!
I'm about to say something I didn't think would ever be muttered by anyone, anywhere. I miss Endicott. There's been some snow here on the East Coast the last few days, and the idiocy of people in Philadelphia and DC is astounding. It snowed about three inches in each place with some sleet to top it off. That was on Tuesday and Wednesday. Schools are still closed today. Are the roads slippery? Nope, dry.
Just north of Philly, there are still a bunch of motorists stuck on an interstate complaining that the Commonwealth should of not let them on the road. Here's the biggest difference between Endicott and Philadelphia: The peope aren't stupid. Yes, they're better drivers in snow. Yes, they take of the roads better. The biggest difference, however, is that the people aren't stupid. Don't drive if you're in the middle of an ice storm!
To sum it up:
Johns Hopkins - 3 inches - School CLOSED
Cornell - ~15 inches - School OPEN
P.S. Does anyone know how to use strikethrough in these posts?

Weekend Fun
Got to do a whole lot of things this weekend. We started off Saturday at the International Spy Museum. It was kind of neat, but more amusement park than museum. After that, it was off to RFD, a bar next to the Verizon Center that has a bigger beer list than anywhere I've ever been before. We finished off Saturday night watching the Rangers beat the Caps pretty badly.
Sunday brought a trip to Tallula, where we ate a lot. Here are some of the things that went into my mouth last night:
Risotto Fritter
Duck Spring Roll
Crab Potsticker
Corndog
Pulled Pork
Scallops
Shortribs
Best place so far in Virginia. And since I'm only here for three more night, it's probably going to end up the best.

Moving Companies are Sketchy
I've been talking to a couple of moving companies as I get ready to move back to PA. There is nothing honest about them. The guy came in and wrote down half the stuff I have, and then tried to guess how much it weighed. He's been doing it for 27 years though, so it's ok. He was only off by about 750 pounds. Out of 2000. Way to go, super-mover.
So they're picking up my stuff next Friday. It'll get to PA either on Saturday or Monday. But no-one can really tell me where it'll be on Sunday if it's not at my house. My guess: Sitting at the Delaware Travel Plaza.

Yay Boston
In case you hadn't heard, the city of Boston has been feeling ignored. How else can you explain all of the stuff that has been going on in the last 24 hours there. Apparently the ad company put the same objects in nine or ten US cities, and only Boston thought it was a terrorist attack. Didn't any of the eleventy-five anti-terror cops recognize it was just a Mooninite? Isn't that a commonly recognized figure?
Earlier in the day, before any of this was news, FARK had this headline:
"Suspicionless searching of passengers has reduced terrorist attacks on Boston's subway system from zero to zero"
Why is Boston trying so hard to find non-existent terrorists? Somehow, deep down, I just know this has something to do with Ben.
