I'm at home for the next few days. I've gotta say, nothing is quite as pretty during a warm December as Endicott. Except maybe a garbage can full of dog crap. I don't think anything has changed here in at least five years.
It was actually sunny now, so my recently neglected car is all spic and span again. And I have XM radio now, so double bonus for me.

Airport Fun
I'm sitting in DFW right now, only three hours before my flight is going to leave. I think I'm going to be sending more time in the airport this week than in a bed. Not that that's a a terrible thing.
Today we realized that it's easier to work with some of my company's competitors than it is to work with other parts of our own company. I don't think it's supposed to work that way. At least I can use the computers at the other Lockheed buildings.

Apartment Pains
I don't think there's any apartment complex on Earth that has more disruptions than mine. Everything from planned power outages, the heater not working in the entire building, and jackhammering just underneath me. I didn't need my pictures hanging on the wall. The floor is much better anyway.
Work is ungodly slow at the end of the year. Almost makes you wish you could be studying for finals. At least they had a pretty cool Christmas party last night. There were two bands, a million buffets, and a semi-open bar. Good enough to keep me happy.

Busy Already
So planning for a wedding starts at engagement + 10 minutes. The number of things that need to get done in less than a year is absolutely mind-boggling. If I was at work, we would have an entire program of 25 people to get this done.
Speaking of work, I won a basket of crackers, cheese, chocolate, jelly, olives, and some other random stuff at the Christmas party. Hooray for me.
And Josh, classy comments out of you on the Facebook wall. Although thank you for posting there instead of calling me, because I don't think I can talk on the phone any more for a few days.

Trip to Ithaca
Kendra and I went up to Ithaca this weekend to hang around Cornell. I managed to get ahold of a pair of hockey tickets so we got to see the RPI game. Turns out some things never change, and Cornell is still terrible in the first period of games. Some other things are also still true, they managed to come back from down 3-0 to tie the game. Overall, a very memorable experience.
The second night we went out to dinner at the Heights Cafe, by far my favorite restaurant. That was after eating a Collegetown Bagels twice earlier in the day. We'd throw in one more time the next morning just because.
